@timbray@cosocial.ca I really like Cory Doctorow's centaur/reverse-centaur take (the real Luddite take) because it allows for individual skilled workers to find an AI tool useful while identifying and acknowledging the bad things happening. So I consider myself neither anti-AI nor an AI booster. I wouldn't characterize this article as anti-AI. At least not in the fediverse AI scold way, if you get my drift.

@timbray@cosocial.ca I have a friend who is all in on AI, and keeps bugging me about it. I think I finally got through to him re: my current project's "challenges", which are organizational in nature, not technical. Internet goes down. Backend is months behind. Firewall issues. Vendor unavailability. And on and on. No amount of AI will help!
