I downloaded the itch.io version and ran it with wine tkg normally (wine Among\ Us.exe), it asked me to login to itch.io. You can make a .sh file to launch it and add it as a linux game to lutris, if this is what solves this.

Yea it asks you. after you authorize it to access itchio it asks you this: But since AmongUsHelper does not work you can’t log in, Among Us itself runs fine. but thanks that might be useful in other apps maybe.
