I mean, it’s not *really* baffling. It’s Conway’s Law and the people who own the API wouldn’t listen to you and you weren’t allowed to publish a second API after people saw through the MCP trick, but nobody wanted to own the CLI so why not grab onto that. But still.

@apenwarr.ca I have never really understood MCPs. A well document and maintained API would do all of that an MCP does right ?
