@thelinuxcast@fosstodon.org i think Linus is trying to appeal to the Linux community because his reputations with the tech savvy people is on a downward slope since the Labs controversy and all the stupid things they've done ever since. (I'm looking at the jet powered elephant in the hangar). But, as dishonest as it may be/look, it can be benefitial to the linux community as a whole. I never liked the gate keepy argument that bringing more normies to linux is a bad thing. The more the merrier.
