I think I get what you’re saying - when we say corrupt, we mean someone is manipulating something for personal gain and otherwise would have a different purpose.
Capitalism is just for personal gain.
Therefore, capitalism cannot be corrupted by manipulation for personal gain, because that’s it’s true purpose.
TLDR: saying capitalism is corrupt is a tautology.
Did I rephrase your point correctly?

Pretty much, with the difference that corruption can only happen if it takes something off it’s path, so to say. If the path itself is bad, being bad is not corruption. If steel rusts, it’s being corrupted. Rust itself cannot be corrupted, because it is what it is. And yes, I very much think that capitalism sucks.
