Yup. Pretty spicy. I debated for a year about getting a pair, but my Blundstones have started letting in some water so I had to stop putting off getting any new shoes.
What I plan on doing is wearing down the soles a bit before getting them resoled with something way more durable and slip resistant than the crepe. I saw somewhere that someone replaced it with Vibram soles! I think they were in the States, and I’m not paying for shipping and USD. Someone local must do it, surely.

If it’s anything like Europe, you’ll have local alternatives. I had a pair of boots resoled with Dunlop brand soles and they were really nice (at a cost of 36€ all-in, but they were bonded not sewn)
