@loke@functional.cafe @troed@swecyb.com I think there is a line to be drawn between which competences you want to have full control on (and will not delegate them to a LLM), and which you do not really care about (stuff you want to spend as little time on as possible). The danger is the risk to put everything into the second category to the point you basically give up all control to the LLM. I am sure kids are not stupid and they will quickly adapt and learn how to use LLMs to their own real advantage.

    @zerkman@pouet.chapril.org @loke@functional.cafe @troed@swecyb.com On the last point, what about building a skill of making deeper models, .... by brain that evolved to conserve metabolic resources. Ask yourself, get a really deep dive into yourself asking what helped you to make mental models? If you have a kid, would you take from him/her possibility to have these formative experiencies? These are long term questions
