I just had my first-ever shower inside an airport terminal, and honestly it feels like a cheat code for life.
I paid for a Capital One lounge 3hrs before my flight, got a great cold shower and fresh clothes on after being outside all day in 90°F heat.
It was life changing and worth every penny.

Hot tip: search Airport you’re flying out of and add “shower”. Seems like 5-6 airports have them in the US, and it’s amazing.

@mathowie@xoxo.zone when I fly through either Singapore or Bangkok (between Europe and Australia), I often visit the pool at the airport (airside at SIN, landside at BKK); it makes the same kind of difference.

@mathowie@xoxo.zone you’ve caught up with every high miler Amsterdam has a full cube hotel in the international terminal you can book a room in. Bed, shower, place to store luggage. Although the KLM business lounge is cheaper, the cube room is quieter.
