i dont think the ISO OSI model with 7 layers should even be taught, it is nothing but confusing misinformation that doesn't reflect modern reality at all anymore compared to the 4 layer model.

@lizzy@social.vlhl.dev @MaddieM4@raphus.social I actually have an outline in my head for an scp story where they invented the 7 layer model to make networking all but impossible to learn because IPv5 did [bad thing] and they had to cover it up. Haven't figured out the bad thing hook yet though.
