@fullywoolly the metal ring size is based on the species and how thick their leg gets as an adult. We also only place them the leg is large enough and gull legs don't really get much thicker as they grow/age (especially when the bird is this size already). So nothing will happen with the leg, ring fits now and will continue to fit 😀
