@nina_kali_nina@tech.lgbt I have a wonderful ruler, made of very thin springy steel, which is backed by a thin layer of cork. The cork is about 2mm smaller than the ruler, so the edge of the ruler doesn't touch the paper, and pens don't leak under it.
Definitely recommended.

@darkling@mstdn.social @nina_kali_nina@tech.lgbt co-signed. These are my favorite rulers generally, unless I’m doing something so technical (usually involving a blade) that I can’t abide even the small deviation that can occur due to the ruler edge being above the surface.
