You have to read this... "Trump gave a big primetime speech last night promising to finally prove the 2020 election was stolen from him. He told everyone to go read the declassified documents on the White House site for the receipts. People read them. That's where it fell apart. One of the documents, a National Intelligence Council assessment from August 2020, says Putin and senior Russian officials were personally directing a proxy effort to push claims that Biden acted corruptly in Ukraine through the Burisma story. The document says these proxies were working the narrative "with US officials and other prominent persons," and that the whole point was to manufacture a corruption scandal around Biden at the height of the campaign so Trump would win. Read that again. Trump released a U.S. intelligence document that says, in plain language, Russia was working to "ensure the President's victory." His own declassification effort just confirmed the Kremlin was running interference for him, not against him. And the China angle he leaned on all night? Also released documents. Also, don't say what he needs them to say. One assessment notes China would have preferred Trump lose, but concludes Beijing never actually tried to affect the outcome. So a speech built entirely around "look what they did to me" instead produced government paperwork saying a foreign adversary tried to help him. He handed reporters the story himself, stamped and signed, expecting no one would read past the headline. People read past the headline. This is the same man who spent five years insisting that Russia collusion was a hoax. His own White House just declassified the paper trail showing it wasn't a hoax at all, it was a strategy, and it worked in his favor."
