@zer0unplanned one thing I totally agree is that we want regulation and legal guardrails. We as a collective need to make the decisions about what kinds of automation we actually want. We’re not even close to having this conversation at the moment and that’s a problem. At the moment the value of “ai” related technologies floats up rather than back to the people whose work was extracted. But that’s another problem. Regardless, ethics and self-regulation is BS.
