@zvinj@tooot.im I guess to come back to this, the actual salient point is when humans are left alone in reasonably sized communities, and the change to change communities if needed, we're mostly ok.

@quinn@social.circl.lu I believe [no proof, just lots of anecdotal experience] that the rich live in a dog eat dog [aka "free market"] state of mind, and they really need to believe this is "human nature" and all cases of poor people being nice to each other are "anomalies" that would probably "correct" themselves as soon as things get worse. They *need* us to be as bad to each other as *they* are.
