That’s the issue. IMHO. A desktop environment should not dictate how the user use it. That’s just stupid.

You realize you can change it right? Macs aren’t locked down at all, you can configure anything you want. Mine works very similar to windows (I think, haven’t used windows in ages), where you drag to the edge/top for full screen or split screen.
