Nothing quite like spending time trying to configure the WiFi gateway on some consumer hardware to make you seriously consider getting a good masonry bit for the drill and just running cat6 cabling instead.

And after fiddling with guest network settings I got this thing on, finally. I’m not sure if I’m happy that Enphase gadgetry doesn’t work with unencrypted WiFi or not. (In this case the solution was just a WPA, not a WPA/WPA2 network and I dunno why it cares. But whatever. Could be pure happenstance)
