"Clinging to the horse and buggy" is actually sort of not a bad analogy for anti-ai sentiment, since cars are a large part of how we got to this climate situation, and AI wants to do more of the same. I *do* want to cling to technologies that won't destroy the entire fucking ecosystem I live in! That's a good thing! Gas turbines are bad, actually!
