Kind of glad I ditched the smart watch when I opened the fitness app for it by accident and was promptly greeted with a message to consent to AI using the data for training purposes.
Did not consent, and now am deleting my data because heck no. Absolutely not.

I still need to solve the step tracking issue because my little old school pedometer doesn't count well. But yeesh. Pay for your own damn info for training, don't just take it retroactively.
