they can't help themselves, falling over each other to be the first to drop the "bombshell revelation" to the film crew that neanderthals were not emotionless, braindead mannequins, but capable of feeling things, having experiences, and thinking with an unknown grey organ speculated to have been contained inside the neanderthals' massive skulls.
what kind of scientist genuinely thought prior to "recent evidence to the contrary" that neanderthals, or any ancient humans, were zombies? and why?
