I don’t know the brand Colorado, but I just did a quick internet search and some of those shoes are so cute! Definitely would have taken a look if I knew about these before and found they were sold in Australia.
I have had the same pair of Blundstones for 7 years and they’re still going. The only issue is that both soles have cracks along the balls of my feet, and a lot of cobblers don’t want to touch them (for resoling). I went to a local Cobbler who had time to chat and he said that trying to take off the soles of Blundstones is a nightmare. He said that molten rubber flies everywhere and it’s just not worth the effort.
Though saying that, I found a place in Ottawa (I think, but I know for sure it’s in Ontario), and a place in Western Australia that resole Blundstones. May consider, but I may retire my Blundies once I get some good mileage on these Duckfeet before making the ultimate decision. Resoling potential was high up on the list for me!
I didn’t realise it, but I’ve been wearing barefoot paddle shoes for years. I love barefoot shoes.
