As things are going, it is unfortunately unavoidable that military will be using “AI” without understanding the limitations of this technology. This scares the hell out of me.

My father has served his mandatory time in the Soviet air defense. This is an area where the Soviet Union made a number of tragic mistakes. Innocent lives have been lost. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Korean_Air_Lines_Flight_007 My father explained it to me like this: “You cannot have people permanently on alert. They will be caught off guard, and in a high-pressure situation they will make mistakes.” Now give those people an “AI” that they consider more capable than themselves…
