@iro_miya@mk.absturztau.be My dad likes the same music as your dad lol. Shockingly, after my gender transition, it turns out I think my dads music taste is decent. I just had too much accumulated miscellaneous trauma before, so when I listened to anything eliciting emotion, especially something gendered, like my dads music, I got really scared and overwhelmed. Now that that doesn't happen, I have started looking for my own similar music to my dads, and have found out about math-rock and j-rock. My dad actually likes the math-rock/j-rock that I play now. Anyway, me and my dad can now enjoy music together, with my mom cowering in the back, because she doesn't like rock :/
