@ascentale@sfba.social @uxMark@cosocial.ca @cainmark@mstdn.social @bikenite@fedigroups.social #BikeNite A6: Yesterday morning and several times last year our air quality was bad due to wildfire smoke. Here it only got into the Red (150 to 200) level, and when it did I rode with a KN95 mask. We have a well filtered HVAC in our home along with an auxiliary air filter so it's never bad inside. But if outside got into the purple or maroon ranges, I'd probably not ride at all.

@MartyCormack@urbanists.social @ascentale@sfba.social @uxMark@cosocial.ca @cainmark@mstdn.social @bikenite@fedigroups.social A6. My area hit over 800 AQI yesterday, and I've decided I won't ride if the AQI is over 300. If it's above 100 I won't ride without a mask, if at all. I regularly wear a KF94 mask indoors, but I've been wanting a reusable/washable mask for biking. I am looking at getting a GATA mask, but there are mixed reviews on it and they're currently sold out of my size. If anyone knows of something along the same line I'd be interested. https://www.gatapack.com #BikeNite
