Good God is my shell scripting rusty!! I used to be really good at this. Took me almost an hour to figure out how to properly extract a substring from the result of a command I needed to run so I could pass that value into a variable for use in the next two commands. Googling for how to do the extract was just the start, I had to also figure out how to use the extract commands in the script. Everything that I did was familiar to me, I had just forgotten how to do it.
