@eniko@mastodon.gamedev.place the heat wave in June here caused a new record on excess deaths in a single day. Yes, even more than during COVID on any single day 😢 We don't have ACs rolled out across the entire country, soo.... And the conservative government currently instead of using the money that was supposed to be used for climate change projects (e.g. making ACs affordable to those who need it) they want to build more natural gas power plants instead with it 😭
