I know a Chartered Accountant who can't add up, and a girl who works in a betting shop, who doesn’t understand betting odds, (I just press buttons on the machine!). Due to a mispent youth playing darts and scoring cricket etc I am very good at mental arithmetic, but not very good when the alphabet is introduced to calculations!
