@RnDanger@infosec.exchange Yeah, the whole thing of LG shrugging off consent of audio recording to the owners is absolute bullcrap.
How about when the neighbors get loud (for any reason) and their voices are captured by the TV? Do we have to get consent for any and all neighbors or do we have to consent to a neighbor's TV?

@qlp@linh.social Telling the purchaser of your product that they are responsible for notifying their houseguests that they will be recorded "in accordance with wiretap laws" Seems like LG is openly admitting to a scheme that's acquiring recordings of people that they know cannot provide consent
