‘12 Gold Bars’ compilation from 1980. I think this was the first cassette I inserted into my first personal stereo (defo not a Walkman and defo not in ‘80).

It’s a rock n’ roll swindle of the highest order that the Quo never got a credit for Prince’s ‘Purple Rain’ after re-hearing ‘Whatever You Want’ opening guitar chimes (the bit/ intro you never hear or are familiar with).
