@miiamustang@eliitin-some.fi I personally do wear a helmet but I am against any sort of obligation to wear helmets and also against any victim blaming of folks that end up in accidents and do not wear one.

@miiamustang@eliitin-some.fi When shopping, commuting or general purpose riding, I don't wear a helmet. When out on my faster road bike and intending to climb hills and descend at speed, I usually do.

@miiamustang@eliitin-some.fi other: being Dutch and cycling on dedicated cycle paths and lanes most of the time, protected by a law that states how motorist are almost always to blame for collisions with cyclists, I feel okay not wearing a helmet. I will probably start wearing when ageing, though. OTOH on my e-speed bike I will always because it's so goddamn fast and it's compulsory when riding that anyway. TL;DR: only when the law tells me to.
