@NullTheFool@mastodon.gamedev.place @RustyNova@mastodon.social if i were writing rust i would declare types 🤷♂️ other than readability there is no function to them in python and i learned to read and write it without them.
my statement was not intended to imply i think all type declarations are pedantic, it was meant to imply to feel pedantic to me in python.

@RustyNova@mastodon.social @NullTheFool@mastodon.gamedev.place you can end lines with a semicolon in python too, when i see this i also find it pedantic - but in C i would see this as a syntax error, theyre different languages and so on
