@bartgroothuis@mastodon.online Maintaining a fork of the Linux kernel would take an army of highly skilled developers, and Torvalds would be the first to know this.
From where I stand, the question is not whether LLMs can be _useful_. Sure they can. The question is whether the negative externalities from training and using them are really worth it.
