@mrmasterkeyboard@mastodon.social @libreoffice@fosstodon.org Copied my university OneDrive after I graduated and thought I had all my notes backed up. They were just .url s that Windows would lie and say were OneNote files in explorer. Lost all of my pre-joplin notes when my account was shut down

@alphapuggle@infosec.exchange @libreoffice@fosstodon.org That really sucks. Honestly, fuck Windows and Microsoft. I made sure to try and find a proper export option. Backed up my server stuff, OneDrive stuff, pretty much everything I could to a USB stick.
