watching a video on bad wii games and the maker mentioned the alvin and the chipmunks CGI film series and it got me thinking about how the 2000s and 2010s were kinda dire for family movies obviously they're worse now what with all the recycled live-action adaptations but those feel like evolved forms of all the "talking animal" films from earlier in the millenium. you know the ones, the ones that were pretty much made on a conveyor belt with all the toilet humor and poorly aged jokes you'd expect…
