Oh, I forgot to mention... I did some testing with using copper foil tape for the wiring, and the results were really promising! I think I'm going to try cutting channels into the board, which I can press the tape into, and then use an exacto knife to cut away the excess. I'll include a spot for each diode. The tape works well for connecting the diode to the socket. I haven't tested making a connection to the controller with the tape yet, but I think that will work well too.
