RE: https://infosec.exchange/@david_chisnall/116931490270096063 As much as I love the (F)OSS ecosystem, it is based on an original implicit premise that "everyone" has an advanced degree in engineering from a top university. Which gave enough proximity to intellectual elites to reflect some of that light while creating a bro culture ante literam that we are still dealing with. Time to move on. Focus on making OSS software useful and acceptable to those organisations (public and private) who need it, and especially their end users.
