Every religion has their enemy laid out in scripture Actually not really all that true. Its pretty much the Abrahamic religions who designate enemies in their scriptures, and both Muslim and christans sprang from judaism. The other religions focus on balance. Jainism, Buddhism, Taoism, Hinduism, atheism, most Native American religions, and Satanic temple do not have an enemy in their scriptures. These myths and stories tell people who they are, whats expected of them, and how to act. When your stories are bloodthirsty and include genocide like its no big deal, well, thats the worldview people model their behaviors after. Theres some psychotic stuff in the abrahamic religions.
