#WritersCoffeeClub July 13: In what ways do you play with the limits of the genre in which you work? Spec-fic only has limits if you pay attention to gatekeepers, and I make it a strict policy never to listen to gatekeepers. Jesting apart, I am congenitally unable to avoid colouring outside the lines of genre. I was awfully flattered when a reader coined the term "sparkling slipstream" to describe my books. (Get busy with the fizzy! Sparkling slipstream!)
