@grimalkina@mastodon.social Would bring my dad his favourite Tim's coffee during the lengthy chemo sessions and blood transfusions, thinking it would warm him up and make him happy.
Until one day he told me it was very inconvenient, because when hooked up to tubes he couldn't easily get up and go to the bathroom after drinking the coffee.
So file this under things not to do instead of something to do.
Everyone in chemo would show up with blankets, knitted hats, sweaters, etc. It is common to always feel cold.
I forget if my father would say that the chemo, the blood transfusion, or both were administered cold. E.g., the bags of fluids were stored in a fridge before they were administered.
