The world just keeps coming at Howard. Not only are four different parts of his body trying to kill him, with cross-contra-indications for various meds, but now he has an ulcer in his eye. Apparently it's known to happen with the steroids we just weaned him off. To add humiliation, the vet gave me gabapentin to give him in preparation for this visit, because he's so jumpy. It did make him much more relaxed, but now the poor bugger's unable to walk in a straight line - he's not even safe at ground level. Because he feels unnaturally dopey, he's restless, so he's been falling over in various parts of the apartment. At least this will wear off. No video, because I'm not that mean.
