going back to the indie thing, just because a corporation presents themselves as an alternative does not mean they won't do typical corporate shit, like take money from google for "AI research" or become ravenously litigious to a disney-like degree the real alternative is DIY culture. that is the only avenue through which the arts can benefit everyone
