@yoasif@mastodon.social @argv_minus_one@mastodon.sdf.org Truthfully, it's both political and philosophical. It depends on the context. Sure, it can be applied to politics, courts, and such. It just seems to me that saying "it's political" in some ways does it a disservice. That puts it in a very contentious box, where things tend to get branded one way or another. Software freedom transcends politics. I don't quite know how to describe it, but it's more than a political statement to me. That's all I was trying to say.
