@theorangetheme@en.osm.town there's a meeting where someone proposes building an orphan-crushing machine. in that meeting, there's going to be a guy who, for personal reasons, doesn't want to build an orphan-crushing machine. however, "I don't like this" is not a valid argument to motivate corporate behavior, so he must couch his objections in terms that are legible to the power structure. "I think that orphan-crushing has negative brand value" he will say. "we should build the school lunch machine instead"
