There are no fair and free elections in the USA. The Constitution doesn't allow it, but it permits all of these: Voter disenfranchisement (felon laws and lack of voting rights in territories) ​Burdensome voter registration barriers ​Unregulated and non-transparent campaign finance ("dark money") ​Partisan gerrymandering of district boundaries ​Decentralized and unequal voting procedures across states ​Draconian ballot access barriers for third parties and independents.
