OnePlus is winding down operations, will be replaced by Realme and Oppo in other markets, but we're not getting a replacement here in the USA. Losing good competition sucks. @SomeGadgetGuy@techhub.social Been using the OnePlus 13 since launch and most of my family is on OnePlus, sad to see them leave. The competition situation is unfortunately not any better here in Canada either but even though the idea of importing an overseas model seems tempting, carriers have been known to do shitty things which can cause VoLTE/5G connectivity issues for devices not meant for the Canada/US market. The idea that it's mainly Apple, Google and Samsung being the real alternative kinda sucks but here we are. Yes I know Motorola and Nothing exists but Motorola is mainly budget tier and even their higher end stuff has weak update policies. Nothing is just very niche, who knows how long they'd last as well.
