Nah. This current government would just continue to pump out oil “for the economy”. Besides, it’s a drop in the bucket compared to the effects of oil and gas production in the US.
However, there’s smoke from wildfires in northern Minnesota affecting the eastern US as well so the Republicans could use that to demonstrate just exactly how containing wildfire smoke is done.
