Tacking solar panels in after the roof is redone is not that big of a challenge for a competent installer assuming the roof word is a traditional shingle setup.
The standoffs for our panels popped under the shingles with ease.
If you're having structural work done, then I would just keep track/pictures of the work done by the roofers

@rtyler i got a misture of flat roof and shingles being redone; i guess my concern is whether the roofers can do anything special to make the solar install easier/better 🤔
