@annehargreaves@ioc.exchange - Sure. But the argument was made that it was. Further even the argument that we *shouldn't* torture because it's *not* effective falls into the same trap.
To make the metaphor whole: Who cares if AI produces slop or produces good work. That argument alone is a distraction.
