@CliffsEsport@mastodon.social @ai6yr@m.ai6yr.org the first time I smelled a wildfire hundreds of miles away (and had to deal with leeches) was as a young Werther in the Boundary Waters. It took a week by canoe to carry someone out for medical attention. This is bad
