He had a stint procedure and is staying for monitoring, but he will need a triple bypass. His color is good and I watched his blood pressure and heart rate for long enough to feel that he’s sticking around. Hungry and talkative even :) we found a little money and a hotel, so we’re good for tonight. Got an actual shower and a little meal from 711. talking in bed with my husband about the real life changes our household has ahead of us. Pa lives his life in service to monks, he is the one taking them to dr appts, taking them to collect merits before dawn, picking up their necessities, etc, so this event will change everything for more than just him. His bedroom is upstairs and that will change. We will learn to care for and accommodate his recovery and new dietary restrictions. A few years ago he began having headaches, so Pa promptly quit drinking, smoking, coffee etc until the symptoms cleared. I know he is capable of great change when the moment requests it. If anyone can support for hotels and taxi this week my Venmo is Jenica-Lake
