So, VM (Windows Server 2025), fresh install of Cursor 3.10.20 (decided to go with it as its the most recent pre-publication version I could easily find), git installed manually, monitored via Process Monitor. Cloned a repo (https://codeberg.org/nyanbinaryOwO/kevbot) through Cursors IDE, threw pwsh.exe renamed to git.exe in there (had issues with the calculator), clicked around a bit, tried to stage the change & commit. MOST of the time it calls the correct gits (C:\Program Fil;es\Git*\git.exe), however SOMETIMES it seems to call the local one, in my specific case for git rev-parse --show-top - procmon log: https://files.nyanbinary.de/misc/procmonlog.xml So there is definitely SOMETHING there, but it's less straightforward than described.
